Left-arm pace sensation Sushant Mishra has rapidly emerged as a key talent to watch in TATA IPL 2026. Hailing from Ranchi, the 25-year-old first made headlines as a standout performer in India’s victorious 2020 U19 World Cup campaign, during which he picked up seven wickets at an average of 19.85. His transition to senior cricket has been equally emphatic. Making his first-class debut in early 2022, he went on to pick 20 wickets in just his first seven matches, and most recently, he finished as the joint-highest wicket-taker in the 2025 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, spearheading Jharkhand’s historic maiden title win with 22 wickets in just 11 matches. Starting at a base price of INR 20 Lakh, Sushant eventually fetched a bid of INR 2.2 Crore at the 2024 Auction with Gujarat Titans winning the race. He joined Rajasthan Royals ahead of IPL 2026 for INR 90 Lakh.
